Named after the river Blackwater in Youghal, Co. Cork, Ireland. Youghal sits at the mouth of the river Blackwater along the southeastern coastline off the Celtic sea, (Muir Cheilteach).

Made from weathered and reclaimed, rough sawn lumber. This wide frame mirror is colored with a flame and oil technique, (no stain), giving it it's blackish highlights, then sealed with a hard protective clear coat. Featuring decorative pipes, handmade Celtic pattern metalwork, with handmade old world style rivets. 

 

This mirror frame comes with mounting hardware, and can be mounted vertically or horizontally. This frame is 5 3/4 to 6 inches wide. Overall size is 35 1/2 inches wide, by 47 3/4 inches tall, and aprox. 55lbs without packing. This piece is one of a kind, unlike any other, handcrafted, and signed by the artist.
