This custom made corporate sculpture is an interpretation of a company logo designed by another artist. Our name for this unique sculpture is an interpretation as well—of an implied philosophical purpose of the corporation for which it represents, as well as the logo it self. If you examine the sculpture you will find two figures within the carvings—one holding an arrow up, and the other pushing an arrow forward, representing Progress.
Hand carved from six separate solid squares of Douglas fir suspended with steel rods. Carvings are filled with abstract shaped metalwork, hand pounded and colored with open flame. Its finished with a dark hand rubbed stain, and a hard protective clearcoat.
