Talla Mòr

Talla Mòr, Scottish for Great Hall. This table's name is reminiscent of the great feasting  and gathering halls in the castles of the distant past.

This table is made, with the exception of the metal, entirely of discarded and reclaimed solid red oak material. The table surface has a Shou-Sugi-Ban, (flame burnt), type of effect, and is colored with a rich hand rubbed stain over the top. The top and it's supporting framework is suspended in the air by vertical 1/2" solid steel rods, anchored in it's base. It features hand carved Celtic pattern work, and hand made rustic rivets with rustic metal work. This table stands at 36' tall, and seats 8-10.
